What’s your typical completion timeframe?

We aim to complete projects within 7-10 business days.

How does the free quotation and measure work?
  1. One of our consultants visits your property to discuss available options.

  2. You’ll receive a quote via email within 15-60 minutes after the appointment.

This service is obligation-free; there’s no pressure to accept our offer. Appointments usually take about 20 minutes but can range from 5 minutes to an hour, depending on your needs and questions.

Are your products made-to-order?

Yes, all our products are custom-crafted to suit any space. We manufacture everything in-house at our Brisbane facility.

Are your products made in Australia?

Yes. We source all raw materials from Australian suppliers and produce the final items right here in Brisbane.

Can I view your products in person?

Yes, we have a showroom where you can view full-sized examples of our entire product range. We invite you to visit 3/610 Pine Ridge Rd, Coombabah during our operating hours and take your time browsing our displays.

How soon after installation can I use my shower?

Allow 24 hours for the silicone to set before using your newly fitted shower screen.

Why is there a gap between the door and panels on my semi-frameless or frameless shower screen?

Australian standards require a 3-5mm gap between the door and fixed panels to ensure the door can open and close fully without potential panel interference.

What’s the typical installation duration?

Installation time varies based on the size and type of shower screen ordered. Generally, semi-frameless screens take about 60 minutes to install. Frameless screens usually require two visits, with a 48-hour interval for silicone setting. Our production team will contact you to arrange the appointment and explain the process once manufacturing is complete.

Do you provide a protective glass treatment?

We’re certified applicators of Enduroshield, an invisible, non-stick coating that reduces cleaning time by up to 90%. Adding this to your order includes a 10-year warranty, registered directly with Enduroshield.

What are the available framing options?

We offer three framing options for custom wardrobe doors:

  • Fully framed
  • Semi-frameless
  • Slimline

Fully framed is the standard style and most economical. Insert options include vinyl, mirror and glass.

Semi-frameless is about $75 per door more expensive due to increased labour and edge polishing requirements. Insert options are mirror and glass; vinyl isn’t available.

Slimline wardrobe doors are two-thirds the thickness of framed and semi-frameless options, ideal for narrow jambs or where cabinetry protrudes into the opening. These are roughly $30 more per door than fully framed.

What are the insert options available?

The most popular inserts for our custom wardrobe doors are mirror, super-white glass, and glacier white vinyl. We can also print any design onto glass for framing as a wardrobe door. Visit our showroom for guidance on design options.

Pricing varies by insert: vinyl is cheapest, followed by mirror, then coloured glass (white or black), with custom printed glass being the most expensive.

Do you provide a triple track solution?

Yes, we provide triple tracks for all wardrobe door styles. These are great for spaces requiring access to over 50% of the opening. Note that triple tracks increase overall cost due to higher manufacturing expenses.

What options do you provide?

We offer three distinct styles mirror styles:

  • Fully frameless
  • Fully framed
  • Micro-framed

Fully frameless mirrors are our most popular product. They’re visually appealing, easy to clean, and our most affordable option.

Fully framed mirrors feature a 20mm perimeter frame, available in various colours, adding strength to the mirror.

Micro-framed mirrors have a slimline 2mm frame alongside the polished edge sides, also available in various colours and adding strength.

All options are equally good; choice depends on personal preference.

What mirror shapes do you offer?

We custom manufacture frameless mirrors in all shapes and sizes. Most popular are rectangle, square, circle, pill, and arched shapes.

Framed or micro-framed mirrors are limited to rectangular or square shapes due to manufacturing constraints with aluminium or steel extrusions for curved shapes.

How do you ensure prevention of mirror rust?

We apply a special mirror edge sealant to all cut and polished mirror edges. This innovative product prevents moisture ingress at the exposed glass edge, the most common cause of perimeter delamination. This is included in the price at no extra cost.

Do you offer coloured mirrors?

Yes, we provide bronze, grey, and black-backed mirrors. These look fantastic but are significantly more expensive to manufacture than standard mirrors. Contact our team for a quote.

What design choices are available?

We offer a full range of custom-made toughened glass splashbacks.

Our most popular and cost-effective option is painted splashbacks. Choose any colour, specifying a brand like Dulux or providing an RGB code. Painted options come in standard or metallic finishes.

We also provide coloured mirror splashbacks in bronze, grey, and black. These heat-resistant options are visually striking and create an illusion of increased space.

Additionally, we offer custom-image printed splashbacks. While pricier than painted options, these provide stunning, limitless design possibilities.

What’s the installation process?

Glass splashback installation requires at least two visits. After positioning the splashbacks, we wait minimum 24 hours for silicone curing before returning to remove temporary packers used to safely place the glass on your benchtop. More complex layouts may need three or four visits to ensure high-quality installation, which we always deliver at Brisbane Shower Screens. We’ll explain the entire process before starting work to ensure everyone’s on the same page.
